Terry: Tell me about the circumstances around your leaving your last job.

Dana: I felt as though my competencies were not exactly the right match for the previous employer’s needs, but I definitely feel like they’d be an excellent match for your organization.

And, to add that, the job wasn’t really working out, so my boss and I kind of came to an agreement that it was time for me to move on to a business that utilized my strengths and that was still a better return.
